Seriously. They've just said it on the news. Scientist and researchers have reached the conclusion that Denmark is indeed: The Happiest Place on Earth. See for yourself here.

One thing I'm wondering though, is why are they circling Denmark, when mentioning that Iceland is the #4 Happiest Place on Earth..?

Okay, I know I've squeed about Bionic Woman here before, but... fact is, that the quality of that show has gone steadily down. And no, it's not just because Katee Sackhoff isn't a regular there any more. The entire thing is turning... weak, to say the least. The acting, the script, all of it.

Anyway. Finally, FINALLY, a TV channel that is somewhat accessible to most people, has decided to pick up a new, American show. And what are they choosing? Yup! You got it! Bionic Woman. The show whose quality is steadily going down, not to mention, most likely not to reappear after the writers' strike *headdesk*

WHY??

That does not make sense!

There are so many other shows they could pick up. Shows that are GOOD, shows that we know will continue. Alright, granted, I'll finally get to see some REAL Katee Sackhoff on Danish TV, but... what about Life? That's a good show. No, sorry, that's an EXCELLENT show, even has good looking actors and actresses to boot AND it'll get picked up next season as well. Then there's Battlestar Galactica, which - granted - isn't new, but it's damn good!

This, ladies and gentlemen, is why I don't really watch Danish TV. I get my TV series elsewhere.

Okay, so... I got it yesterday, finished watching it today, and I just have to say

The Herald of the Apocalypse?

OMG OMG OMG OMG

I totally hadn't seen that one coming. I always thought she was some sort of either salvation angle or bearer of something good, but Herald of the Apocalypse? Nuh uh, though it does make sense.

Okay, and now... I have a house to clean because I really don't want to waste my weekend on that *G*

I made this for my mum. Her birthday is coming up, so... yeah. She has this really beautiful set of clothes that she hasn't been able to find a necklace for. Hopefully she'll agree that this one fits.

Been productive today, yeah, I have :)

After a period of frustration of not being able to really do anything, I seem to have refound my mojo for making jewelry, which has resulted in:

A bracelet (alright, so I made that one yesterday, but still...)

A necklace. I made this one with Kim's sister in mind, so I'm thinking this might end up being her Christmas present. Oh, and the big shiny pendant? I know it doesn't look like it in the photo, but it is silver. The idea is that you tie it closed on the back of your neck, that way you can decide how low it should hang on you for yourself.

And finally, this really simple one, made from waxed thread, that you just wrap around your neck like a scarf until it's situated as you like it.

And yes... I need to get more icons uploaded, I know, I know...

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!

I’m sitting here with the October 2007 issue of SciFi Magazine, and I have sooooooo much work that needs to get done here at home before I can allow myself to read it, but… but… but…

Just flipping through it quickly, I found a TOTALLY(!!!!) hot Katee Sackhoff on the cover, gorgeous pics of her, Jamie Bamber and Mary McDonnell at the Battlestar Galactica Celebration Screening and Fourth Season Sneak Preview. There’s TONS of stuff about Bionic Woman, which partly includes several full page ad pics for it with the loverly Michelle Ryan (Good gods, that one green and one blue eye… *dies*), there’s a focus on Sackhoff, because she’s part of two of the shows airing in the States this fall, sneak peaks from BSG season four, and… and… and…

*squees*

Since it’s the issue about the fall shows on SciFi, that also means New Amsterdam. So imagine my squeeing when I got to spread about that show. A FULL SPREAD ON NEW AMSTERDAM AND NICOLAJ COSTER WALDAU!!! There’s even a gorgeous picture of him there… several in fact, but one is FULL PAGE!!

And Heroes and Ghost Whisperer and Supernatural…

Man, for somebody who hardly watches TV, I sure do watch a lot of shows. The Magical Elf Delivery Service will be busy this fall *nods* mm, hmm.

Damian Lewis as Bill Weasley, Mick Jagger as Mundungus Fletcher, and Michael Gambon as Aberforth Dumbledore in the future production of the film version of DH?

Hell yeah!

All I can say, is that I really agree with the results MTV got from their recent poll.

Now all we need is for Gareth Lewis to be cast as Charlie Weasley, and all will be well with the world *G*
